A Christian citizen was killed in Las Vegas at about half past five in the morning local time. According to the eyewitnesses, the 45-year-old man named Hector Lemus-Flores was shot dead suddenly as he approached the church. As other community members at the church rushed to the scene, Hector was lying injured near the car and just beside him was laying the Bible that he used to bring to the church along with him.
The people at the scene immediately informed the police. The police and the rescue team arrived shortly and started trying to save the dying person. Hector was rushed to the hospital after the first aid but he succumbed to injuries and died.
Police told that the man was shot in the chest and couldn’t survive due to extensive loss of blood. The police have started investigating the incident from various angles. It is being investigated whether it was street robbery incident or was he killed after thorough planning.
It is pertinent to mention here that two citizens had also been killed in August as they were approaching the church on a Sunday. Moreover, a man had died while seven others had been injured as fire was opened at them when they were coming out of the church.
